Jorge Castañer

Jorge Castañer is a Senior Project Coordinator at South Pole, responsible for leading European Nature Based Solutions projects. Jorge is also a Board Member at Desert Leaves, contributing to the organization's objectives of promoting forestation in dryland regions. Prior to this, Jorge worked as a Forest Engineer at Agresta S. Coop and as a Green Areas Technician at VALORIZA SERVICIOS MEDIOAMBIENTALES SA. Jorge holds a Master's degree in Sustainable Forest and Nature Management from the University of Göttingen.
