Alexandra Mason

Alexandra Mason has a diverse work experience in various leadership roles within the YMCA organization. Alexandra began their career at YMCA of Greater Boston in 2009, serving as the Revenue Manager Assistant and Child Care Administrator, where they were responsible for financial management reports and voucher slot administration. Alexandra later worked as the Business Manager, overseeing hiring, budgets, and campaigns. Alexandra then served as the Director of Hotel Operations, managing sales, front desk, and housekeeping for a large hotel. In 2017, they took on the role of Interim Executive Director, focusing on board management and fundraising. Alexandra then became the Director of Branch Operations, responsible for managing all operations at a hotel and traditional Y branch.

In 2018, Alexandra joined Old Colony YMCA as the Associate Executive Director, overseeing various departments and taking on the additional role of Director of Family Services for a period of time. Alexandra recently worked as the General Manager at Goldfish Swim School Franchising, LLC before joining South Shore YMCA as the Systems Manager and later transitioning to the role of Human Resources Director.

Alexandra Mason completed their education with a Master of Liberal Arts (ALM) degree in Psychology from Harvard University in 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration and Management from an unspecified institution in 2007. Alexandra has also acquired additional certifications including SKILLS Fundamentals from Attensi in 2022, Certified Pool & Spa Operator (CPO) from The Aquatic Council in 2021, and a YMCA Team Leader certification from YMCA of the USA (National Resource Office).
