Creative Learning (arts & Wellbeing) - Freelance Support at Southbank Centre

Magdalena Moursy has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Magdalena'scurrent role is a Freelance Creative Producer (Events & Audio), where they are involved in programming, production, and administration of creative learning community-based programs. Magdalena coordinates community groups and is also producing an audio documentary and immersive audio experience as part of their work with the Arts Council England.

Previously, Magdalena worked as a Venue Manager at the We Out Here Festival, a festival focused on jazz musicians. Magdalena was responsible for managing the Brawnswood venue, where they curated food and wine offerings and programmed the sound system.

Magdalena has also worked at the Southbank Centre in different capacities. As a Creative Learning Freelance Support, they provided support across various programs, including event production, management, and project administration. In their role as Creative Learning (Emerging Artists) Interim Support, they contributed to the delivery of courses, workshops, and performances for emerging artists. Magdalena also worked as a Producer, managing multi-art form festivals and outdoor art site designs.

Prior to their work at the Southbank Centre, Magdalena was a Cultural Curator at Second Home, where they curated cultural programming. Magdalena also held roles at Second Home as Head of Cultural Programming in London and Los Angeles, as well as an Events Producer.

Magdalena'searlier experience includes working as an Events Producer at Secret Productions Ltd and artFix London. Magdalena also served as a Commercial Support Assistant at ABN AMRO Clearing Bank N.V., where they worked on Project CARAC.

Magdalena's work experience demonstrates their expertise in event production, programming, project management, and community engagement in the arts and cultural sector.

Magdalena Moursy began their education in 2011 at the University of Leeds, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art. Magdalena completed their undergraduate studies in 2014. In 2020, Magdalena enrolled at Goldsmiths, University of London to pursue a Master's degree in Radio, which they completed in 2021.
