Shila Shimkhada

Home Care Package Coordinator at Southcare

Shila Shimkhada started at Southcare in 2013 as a Client Services Officer and since then she has taken on various roles such as HACC Co-ordinator, CHSP Co-ordinator, Home Care Package Co-ordinator, and now acting as Manager Community Home Support. Part of her responsibilities is to onboard new customers and manage Home Care Package customers’ cases. She is also responsible for staff management. She works closely with Southcare’s Leadership team to offer the best-aged care services for the customers. Southcare has been a great team and a lovely family to work with, helping her tremendously with her personal and professional growth.

Shila is passionate about helping people and bringing positive impacts to their lives. She is currently studying Bachelor of Social Science and has been working in the not-for-profit sector for the last 10 years. Working in this industry has been extremely rewarding to her.
