Jasmine Hamid

Jasmine Hamid, OD, is an experienced optometrist currently working at Southcentral Foundation since June 2023, focusing on eye care for Native Alaskan patients using a shared-responsibility model. Previous positions include providing comprehensive optometric care at Midland Vision with an emphasis on pediatrics and ocular disease, and working collaboratively in upscale settings at Manhattan Beach Vision Group. Jasmine's experience spans a high-volume ophthalmology/optometry office, managing conditions such as glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy, as well as delivering thorough optometric exams at LensCrafters. Jasmine holds a Doctorate in Optometry from the Southern California College of Optometry and has contributed to optometric research as a co-author, alongside participation in volunteer initiatives to promote community health.
