Michelle Harris

Michelle Harris is a Certified Nurse-Midwife with over a decade of experience in midwifery and primary health care. Currently employed at Southcentral Foundation since June 2010, Michelle has significant expertise in providing comprehensive gynecological care, prenatal and postpartum care, and managing intrapartum deliveries. Prior to this role, Michelle held a locum tenens position at Group Health Permanente, where responsibilities included health screenings, hormone replacement therapy consultations, and managing a wide range of women's health issues. Michelle’s earlier experience includes serving as a Volunteer Small Enterprise Development Agent with the Peace Corps, focusing on improving the financial health of micro-finance institutions and leading a rural computer training school. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nurse Midwifery from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and a Bachelor of Arts in International Banking and Finance from Franklin College Switzerland.
