Scott Johnson

Scott Johnson is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in technology management, financial analysis, and organizational leadership. Currently serving as the Manager of Academic Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT), Scott leads a technical support team overseeing over 8,000 endpoints and works collaboratively with school departments to enhance teaching and learning through technology. Previously, Scott held multiple roles at SAIT, including Interim Director of End User Experience and Supervisor of Technology Support, where responsibilities included managing IT services and ensuring proper technology operation across campuses. Prior experience also includes financial analysis roles at Superior Propane and British Columbia Ambulance Service, and commercial banking at RBC, along with a solid foundation in corporate accounting at Talisman Energy. Scott holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Mount Allison University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Technology Infrastructure Management from SAIT.
