David Schmidt

David Schmidt has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. David began their career as a Store Manager at Walmart in 1990 and later transitioned into the banking sector, where they held various positions at U.S. Bank. David served as a Relationship Manager from 1997 to 2007, followed by roles as a Market President and Commercial Client Manager until 2022. David then took on the role of Community Bank President at Citizens Bank & Trust from November 2022 to February 2023 before joining Southern Bank in February 2023 as their Community Bank President. Additionally, David co-owned Bearcat Boogie Dance Studio in 2001.

David Schmidt earned a Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations from Northwest Missouri State University from 1979 to 1983. Prior to that, they obtained their HS Diploma in Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences from Maryville High School from 1975 to 1979.
