Andrea Romero

Andrea Romero is currently a graduate student researcher at University of California, Riverside, working in the Groen Lab on glucosinolate effectiveness against nematodes. Previously, Andrea worked as a research assistant in Dr. Erin Rankin's community ecology lab and at the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project. Andrea also has experience as a server at Shogun Restaurant, bartender at Shooters Bar and Grill, and as a blog contributor at Botany One. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Science in Botany/Plant Biology and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Plant Molecular Biology at University of California, Riverside. Additionally, Andrea has a Phlebotomy Technician/Phlebotomist NHA License from UCLA Center for Prehospital Care.
