Jim Hollifield is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, marketing, and editorial roles. Currently serving as the Director of Strategic Communications and Marketing at Southern College of Optometry since June 2003, Jim oversees a diverse range of projects including web content creation, brand management, public relations, and event marketing. Previous positions include Communications Editor and Communications Specialist at Southern College of Optometry, as well as roles with Drexel Chemical, Primedia, the University of Tennessee, Screen World, Lakeway Publishing/Citizen Tribune, and an editorial internship at Playboy Enterprises. Jim holds a degree in Communications with a focus on Journalism from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
