Michelle Huey-Avery

Michelle Huey-Avery is an experienced professional in human resources and talent development, currently serving as the Assistant to the President and CEO of Atlanta Gas Light and Chattanooga Gas and Vice President of HR at Southern Company Gas since January 2021. With a background in operational excellence and customer experience, Michelle has managed strategic process alignment to enhance customer satisfaction and employee performance. Previous roles include senior positions at Georgia Power Company and Southern Company, where Michelle successfully delivered leadership and employee enrichment programs, provided strategic HR consulting, and managed HR operations for a workforce of 26,000 employees.
