Glenn Wilson

Glenn Wilson has over twenty years of work experience in various roles and companies. Glenn currently works as a Principal Research Engineer at Southern Company since 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Alabama Power Company for fifteen years. At Alabama Power Company, they held different roles such as Data Management & Technology Supervisor, Transmission Maintenance Supervisor, Control Center Supervisor, Long Range Transmission Outage Planner, Protection & Control Engineer, Control Center Support Engineer, and Distribution Planning Co-Op. Before joining Alabama Power Company, Glenn was the owner of WilsonicProductions from 1995 to 2007, where they focused on providing web-based data solutions to chemical plants in Mississippi and Georgia. Glenn began their career at Entergy as an Operations Support Co-Op for a short period in 1999.

Glenn Wilson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Mississippi State University, completing their studies from 1996 to 2001. Additionally, during the same time period, they also obtained another Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution.
