Will Hobbs began their work experience in 2007 as an intern at Southern Company, where they worked in engineering and internal controls and compliance. In 2008, they joined the Georgia Institute of Technology as a Graduate Research/Teaching Assistant. In 2010, they worked as a Researcher (Tech Temp) at GTRI and later joined Southern Company as a Principal Research Engineer.
Will Hobbs completed their education at Georgia Institute of Technology. Will obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2003 to 2007. Later, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2008 to 2010, again at Georgia Institute of Technology. In addition to their academic achievements, Will Hobbs obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from the Alabama Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors in December 2016.
