Xenia M.

Xenia M. currently serves as the Assistant Director of First Year Admissions at Southern Connecticut State University, starting in October 2024. Previously, Xenia held the position of Career Success Manager at BASTA from July 2023 to October 2024, where a tailored approach to career placement yielded a 15% increase in goal-aligned placements and a 20% rise in job placement rates through small group coaching. Xenia’s extensive background in academic advising includes roles as Senior Academic Advisor for the ACE Program at John Jay College (2018-2023), where a 4-year graduation rate increase of 59.8% was achieved, and Academic Advisor at Marymount Manhattan College, contributing to a 75% increase in GPA among at-risk students. Additional relevant experience includes mentoring transfer students at Mercy College and serving diverse student populations at Brigham Young University and Stony Brook University. Xenia holds a Master’s Degree in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature from St. Bonaventure University.
