Laurence Hunter

Laurence Hunter is a seasoned insurance professional with extensive experience across various roles in the industry. Currently serving as Chief Underwriting Officer at Southern Cross Travel Insurance since October 2025, Laurence has held strategic positions including Chief Insurance Officer at Laka from October 2018 to September 2025 and a Board Member role at Insurtech UK for one year. Prior to these roles, Laurence operated as an Independent Consultant at Hunter Consulting, focusing on InsurTech businesses, and worked in M&A Advisory Practice at Willis Towers Watson.
