Chris Roberts Ba Fcca

Chris Roberts BA(Hons) FCCA has a solid work experience in the field of internal auditing. Chris started their career as an Internal Auditor at Mazars UK, where they gained experience in auditing housing associations and colleges. Chris then moved on to RSM Tenon, where they expanded their client portfolio to include local government, hospitals, universities, and commercial businesses. At Xoserve, a subsidiary of National Grid, they were responsible for delivering the internal audit program and coordinating the risk management framework. Chris then joined The MDU as a Senior Internal Auditor, delivering complex internal audits and presenting to the Audit and Risk Committee. Currently, Chris holds the position of Principal Internal Auditor at Optivo, a G15 social housing provider, where they have input in the formation of the internal audit program and leads a team of auditors. Following a merger, they now works as Principal Internal Auditor at Southern Housing, delivering professional internal audits and investigations across the business. Overall, Chris has shown expertise in performing internal audits, managing client portfolios, and contributing to risk management and assurance activities.

Chris Roberts BA(Hons) FCCA has a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Staffordshire University, which they obtained from 2002 to 2005. Chris is also an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) member, with a background in Accounting and Finance. Currently, Chris is pursuing a Level 5 Diploma in Departmental Leadership and Management from ILM, expected to be completed by 2022.
