Karla Berry

Karla Berry currently serves as the Director of the Center for Teaching Excellence and an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, since July 2012. Previous roles include Dean of the School of Media and Communication at National University from January 2008 to June 2011, Executive Producer for both the Global Rivers Project and the South Carolina Film Consortium, and Producer and co-PI for the Personal Public Service Announcement Project at UGA. Additionally, Karla Berry held the position of Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina and served as President of the University Film and Video Association. Academic credentials include an MFA in Video from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, earned between 1983 and 1985.
