Carlenne Lacosta, ASW, BCBA, currently serves as a Youth Mental Health Therapist at Southern Indian Health Council, Inc. since September 2023. Prior experience includes a supervisory role at Comprehensive Autism Center and various positions at the Center for Autism and Related Disorders, where direct individual behavior therapy was provided to children with autism. Carlenne has also worked as an Academic Coach at High Tech Middle Chula Vista and as a School Social Work Intern in the Chula Vista Elementary School District, delivering mental health support to students. Additional internships include counseling roles at Crisis House and educational support in special education settings. Carlenne holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and dual Master's Degrees in Theatre Arts from San Diego State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts and Psychology.
