Ashley Archibald

Ashley Archibald has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Currently, they serve as the Chief Information Security Officer at Toka Tū Ake EQC. Prior to this, they were a vCISO at the same company and also held the position of Information Technology Security Manager. Earlier in their career, Ashley worked as a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant and Information Security Manager at Datacom. Ashley also gained experience at NCSC NZ as a Service Delivery Manager and System Engineer. Starting their career at KiwiRail as a Signals Engineer, Ashley has progressively built their expertise in the field through various roles and positions.

Ashley Archibald completed the GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC) program at SANS Technology Institute in 2015. They obtained a Bachelor of Engineering Technology degree with a focus on Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from WelTec between 2012 and 2014. Prior to that, Ashley attended St Patrick's College Silverstream from 2007 to 2011, but the degree and field of study are unspecified. In addition, Ashley has obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA, and the Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in 2022 and 2021 respectively.
