Chris Burns

Chris Burns has extensive experience in technology and network administration, currently serving as the Network Tools Administrator at Southern Linc since September 2018. Previous roles include Adjunct Instructor at Central Alabama Community College and Network Tools Administrator at TEKsystems. Noteworthy contributions were made at Avnet Technology Solutions as a Senior Cloud Consultant, where Chris installed and customized virtualization software, and at HP, where Chris supported UNIX scripts and automated processes for server provisioning. The career spans several decades with EDS and the University of Texas at Arlington, encompassing roles in system programming and enterprise technology. Chris holds a BS in Mathematics from The University of Texas at Arlington and is pursuing a graduate program in Biostatistics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
