Laura Case has over 30 years of experience in project management and leadership roles focused on sustainability, green building certifications, and energy efficiency. Laura served as the Vice President and Director of Technical Services at the Southface Institute from 2010 to 2021, where they were responsible for program implementation, team development, and integrated sustainability solutions. Prior to that, they worked as a Program Manager at the Southface Institute, responsible for sustainability consulting, grant management, and building science. Laura also worked as a LEED Project Manager at BVM-Engineering from 2009 to 2011, and as a Project Manager at Emory University from 1999 to 2009. Laura began their career as a Project Manager at the Georgia Building Authority from 1988 to 1999. Throughout their career, Laura has demonstrated expertise in campus planning, design, construction, facility management, and operational efficiency in various contexts. Laura holds LEED AP BD+C and LEED Fellow certifications and is also a Living Building Challenge Ambassador.

Laura Case earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Southern Polytechnic State University. In addition, they obtained a certification as a LEED Fellow from the Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) in February 2018.
