Steven Rogers

Steven Rogers is an experienced QA/QC professional with a strong background in welding and fabrication. Currently employed at Southland Steel Fabricators, Inc./Grid Structures since March 2019, Steven conducts dimensional inspections of fabricated structures and inspects welds in accordance with D1 standards. Prior experience includes QA/QC roles at Universal Plant Services, Inc. and a welder/fitter position at DIS-TRAN Steel, LLC, where skills in reading blueprints and welding on high-voltage substations were developed. Additional roles at Hayes Companies involved fabricating components for the oil and gas and railroad industries, while early experience as a machine mechanic at Plastipak Packaging, Inc. provided a foundation in maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical machinery. Steven holds an AWS Certified Welding Inspector certification and is a graduate of Louisiana State University-Alexandria and Bogalusa High School.
