Michael Bonilla

Michael Bonilla has a diverse work experience. Michael started their career in 2012 as an Accounting Intern at DXP Enterprises, Inc., where they performed various accounting tasks and filed sales tax returns. In 2013, they worked as a Corporate Development Intern at the same company, focusing on business analysis and acquisition financial performance analysis. From 2012 to 2013, Bonilla also served as an Intramural Supervisor at LeTourneau University, supervising intramural games and assisting in program development. In 2015, they joined Southside Bank and held various roles, including Credit Analyst, Banking Officer, and Assistant Vice President in portfolio risk analysis. Michael continued to advance within the bank, becoming Vice President and later Senior Vice President, Director of Data Analytics & Strategy. Throughout their career, Bonilla has gained experience in financial analysis, data analytics, and risk management.

Michael Bonilla earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Finance, General from LeTourneau University in 2015. Michael continued their education at Penn State University, where they completed a Master of Professional Studies degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including Microsoft Office Specialist in Access 2013, PowerPoint 2013, and Excel 2013, as well as being certified as an Intuit Quickbooks User in 2014.
