Derek Whisenhunt

Derek Whisenhunt is an experienced technology operations and engineering professional with a robust background in end user computing and field services. Currently serving as the Head of Field Services Engineering & Operations and the Head of End User Computing and Enterprise Monitoring at Southwest Airlines, Derek has previously held significant roles, including Director of End User Computing Product Management at Fidelity Investments and Director of End User Computing at Sabre Corporation. Additionally, Derek's experience includes managerial positions at TTI, Inc., Forterra Building Products, and a solid educational foundation with an Associate of Arts in Information Technology from Midlands Technical College and further studies at the University of South Carolina.
