Jerome Ferrell

Jerome Ferrell currently serves as Assistant General Manager at Southwest Airlines since October 2013 and has held the position of Director of Airports at Airtran Airways since October 2002, overseeing 17 airports in the Central Region with responsibilities including customer service performance and regulatory compliance. Prior to these roles, Jerome Ferrell was District Manager of Cargo Services at Northwest Airlines from March 1991 to September 2002, managing a significant cargo operation and overseeing a large workforce. Earlier experience includes serving as Station Manager and Trainer at the US Postal Service and as an Administrative Management Specialist in the United States Air Force. Jerome Ferrell earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, between 1982 and 1986.
