Robert Weathersby, MSN-HCA, RN

Robert Weathersby, MSN-HCA, RN has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry. Robert began their career in 2006 as a Telemetry Monitor Tech at Mississippi Baptist Health Systems, where they remotely monitored cardiac patients on telemetry for cardiac arrhythmias and notified nursing staff of changes in patient's rhythm. In 2007, they joined St. Dominic Hospital as an Interim Director of Operations, where they were responsible for managing the logistics and carrying out essential duties associated with Facilities, Imaging, Environmental Services, Food & Nutrition, Guest Services, PBX and the Gift Shop in addition to existing responsibilities in the areas of Clinical and Community Outreach. Robert also served as Director of Community Impact, providing direct oversight of the community services offered through St. Dominic's Community Health Services, and as Director of Clinical Outreach, developing and managing current offsite clinics in secondary service areas. Additionally, they served as an Infectious Disease Nurse and a Patient Care Tech. In 2011, they moved to River Region as a Registered Nurse, and in 2022 they became the Chief Operating Officer at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center.

Robert Weathersby, MSN-HCA, RN has a comprehensive educational background. Robert is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing in Healthcare Administration at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, which is expected to be completed in 2022. Robert previously obtained a BSN from Mississippi University for Women in 2014, an Associate of Science (AS) in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Hinds Community College in 2009, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2005.
