David Salazar has a diverse work experience that spans over several years. David began their career at Southwest Research Institute in 2007 as a Principal Drafter (Mechanical), where they were responsible for mechanical applications and drawings for multiple projects. In this role, they provided support to designers, engineers, and scientists in the Space and Science departments. David also performed graphic design work, created proposals, and designed posters. Before joining Southwest Research Institute, David served in the US Army from 1990 to 2004, where they held various roles such as Track Vehicle Repairer, Transportation Operator, and Motor Transport Operator.
