James Keys is an established professional with over 24 years of experience in engineering and program management, currently serving as Vice President and Executive Director of Research and Development at Southwest Research Institute since 1999. In this role, James is responsible for staff and technology development, as well as promoting various program areas, particularly focusing on prototype electro-mechanical systems. James's academic background includes a PhD candidacy in Soil Sciences at Texas A&M University and graduate research assistantships at both Texas A&M and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, contributing to important research projects in soil science and wastewater treatment systems.
