Kenneth Carson

Lead Scientist at Southwest Research Institute

Kenneth Carson has a diverse range of work experience spanning over 20 years. Kenneth began their career as a Chemist at Summit Industrial Products in 1995, where they worked until 1999. Following this, they became a Graduate Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from January 2000 to August 2006, specializing in molecular and cellular medicine. During this time, Kenneth conducted various research projects, including microencapsulation procedures and genetic manipulation of proteins. In 2005, Kenneth joined NanoRelease Technologies as Secretary and Treasurer, where they remained until October 2008. Kenneth then joined Texas A&M Health Science Center as an Assistant Research Scientist from August 2006 to October 2008. Since October 2008, Kenneth has been working at Southwest Research Institute as a Lead Scientist.

Kenneth Carson received their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Texas at Tyler, where they attended from 1994 to 1997. Kenneth then pursued their Ph.D. in Medical Sciences with a focus on Biochemistry at Texas A&M University, completing their studies from 1999 to 2006.
