Michael McLelland possesses extensive experience in the aerospace engineering field, with a career spanning over three decades. Since joining Southwest Research Institute in September 1991, Michael has advanced through various roles, culminating in the position of Vice President Space Systems. Previous positions held at the institute include Executive Director, Director, Program Manager, Senior Research Engineer, Research Engineer, and Engineer. Prior to this, employment at Texas Instruments as an Electronic Technician from May 1985 to September 1991 provided foundational technical expertise. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from St. Mary's University, obtained between 2003 and 2006, and a Bachelor of Science degree in the same field from The University of Texas at Arlington, completed between 1988 and 1991.
