Patrick Batten

Patrick Batten has a diverse work experience starting in 1998 as a Political Director for a US Senate campaign. Patrick then worked as a Policy Advisor for the County of San Diego in 2000 before transitioning to a Deputy Campaign Manager for a California State Assembly campaign. In 2001, they became the Legislative Director for the California State Assembly and later took on the role of District Director. In 2003, Batten worked as a Campaign Manager for another California State Assembly campaign and then joined the CA State Senate as a Campaign Manager in 2004. Simultaneously, they served as a Marine in the United States Marine Corps. Batten continued their military service as an Operations Officer for 3d ANGLICO - USMC from 2016 to 2018. Patrick also worked as an Account Supervisor for OPR Communications in 2017. In 2018, Batten joined Southwest Strategies and progressed through the ranks, starting as a Manager of Public Affairs, then becoming a Senior Manager of Public Affairs, and ultimately assuming the role of Director of Public Affairs.

Patrick Batten attended San Diego State University from 1993 to 1998, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science and Government.
