Alvaro Camacho

Alvaro Camacho is a seasoned professional in asset integrity engineering with extensive experience across multiple sectors, including oil and gas, energy transition, and infrastructure. Currently serving as a Staff Asset Integrity Engineer at Southwestern Energy since October 2021, Alvaro has previously held senior positions at Vysus Group and Lloyd's Register, focusing on preserving the mechanical integrity of industrial assets and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Alvaro's career began with an internship at SIDOR, followed by a role at PDVSA Intevep, where expertise in corrosion resistance and reliability evaluation was developed. Alvaro holds a Post Graduate Diploma/M. Sc in Chemical Engineering from Ohio University and a degree in Materials Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar.
