Serena Bettis

Serena Bettis is an experienced professional with a diverse background in community engagement and organizational management. Currently serving as the Associate Director of Alumni Relations at Southwestern University since July 2017, Serena plans and facilitates programming for regional chapters of the Alumni Association, collaborating with volunteers and staff for events. Prior experience includes roles such as Parent Community Specialist at Round Rock ISD, where needs assessments and parent engagement workshops were a focus, and Family Advocate/Assistant Director at Cen-Tex Family Services, responsible for implementing social service programs for families. Additional experience includes finance and project management at St. Margaret's Catholic Church, business management at Buckaroo's Business Cafe, and business development roles at Knowledge Alliance and RHI Consulting. Education includes ongoing studies at Southwestern University, building on a previous degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
