Carlos Ayala

Carlos Ayala is an experienced manufacturing and operations leader with a proven track record in various roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Southwire Company since August 2021 and as Owner of Maaco Collision Repair and Auto Painting since March 2020, Carlos previously held significant managerial positions at companies such as Fleedwood Metal Industries and Rain Bird Corporation. Notably, Carlos led a $3 billion company in a Lean transformation initiative while serving as Sr. Director of Rig Manufacturing at Patteson-UTI Drilling Company. Carlos's extensive career at Cummins Inc. spanned over two decades, culminating in the role of General Manager for the Oil and Gas Center of Excellence, with responsibilities for unique engine packages and global operations. Carlos holds an MBA in Finance from Indiana University Bloomington and a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
