Pierre-Marc Leblanc

Director, Specification Engineering at Southwire

Pierre-Marc Leblanc has extensive work experience in the engineering field. Pierre-Marc started their career at General Cable in 2004 as a Process Engineer, where they focused on process improvement and Lean Manufacturing activities. Pierre-Marc then moved on to become a Design Engineer, responsible for Low-Voltage Utility products. After that, they took on the role of Product Engineer, during which they completed a temporary assignment in China as part of a SWAT team. In 2010, they became an Advanced Product Engineer, leading product development and cost-saving projects for Medium-Voltage TRXLPE Utility products. In 2013, they joined Prysmian Group as the Manager of Specification Engineering, where they led a team of engineers and provided technical direction and sales support. Currently, they are working at Southwire Company as the Manager of Energy & OEM Engineering and was promoted to Director of Specification Engineering in February 2019.

From 2000 to 2004, Pierre-Marc Leblanc attended Polytechnique Montréal, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
