David Downes

David Downes has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of development and technology. David began their career as a Senior Developer at Moving Picture Company, where they implemented a web-based resource management and project scheduling tool. David then worked as a Senior Engineer at Luluvise, a social networking startup, helping to launch their website. After that, they served as a Senior Javascript Engineer at Open Business Associates, specializing in frontend development and creating a graphing tool for employee productivity reports. Subsequently, they worked as a Lead Level Developer at LBi, where they developed a hub landing page and an interactive tool for a BT campaign. David also worked as a FIBA Mobile App Developer at Fortune Cookie, building a cross-platform mobile app for the International Basketball Federation. David then joined Marie Stopes International as an Application Lead and MIS Developer, developing a web-based system for medical records in challenging environments. David later served as a Senior Python/Django Developer at Havas, leading a team in delivering a complex project for London Heathrow. David then worked at the Department for International Trade as a Lead Developer before joining Bitstocks as a Development Lead. Currently, David is working at Sova Assessment as a Lead Developer.

David Downes received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Nottingham, where they studied from 2001 to 2005.
