Owen Thornton

Head Of Joint Ventures And Partnership at Sovereign Housing Association

Owen Thornton has prior experience working in various roles within the housing sector. Owen began their career with Bristol City Council in 2007 as an Affordable Housing Development Officer and worked there until 2009. Owen then joined Curo in 2010 as a Development Project Manager, where they stayed until 2015. In 2016, Owen joined Bromford as a Project Manager for a short period before moving to Sovereign Housing Association. At Sovereign, they initially served as a Development Manager and later became the Head of Joint Ventures and Partnership, a position they currently hold.

Owen Thornton pursued their higher education with a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Geography from Swansea University, which they completed between 1999 and 2002. Later, they attended the University of the West of England from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Real Estate Management.
