Cortlandt Pierpont

Cortlandt Pierpont has had a diverse range of work experiences. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics and the Center for Astrophysics and Space Astronomy. In 2011, they became a Teaching Assistant at the University of Colorado Astronomy Department. In 2012, they resumed their role as a Research Assistant, this time at the Laboratory for Atmospheric and Space Physics. In 2014, they transitioned to being a Geophysical Technician at TRICON GEOPHYSICS, Inc. In 2016, they worked as a Data Analyst at Apto, and in 2017, they joined Sovrn Holdings, Inc. as a Data Scientist. Currently, they hold the position of Data Science Manager at Sovrn Holdings, Inc., which they assumed in March 2020.

Cortlandt Pierpont obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Astrophysics from the University of Colorado Boulder, where they studied from 2006 to 2011. In addition to their degree, they also obtained several certifications, including "Machine Learning" by Stanford University on Coursera in March 2017, "Computational Investing, Part I" on Coursera in March 2016, and "Certified Wolfram Technology Associate" from Wolfram in January 2014.
