Marius Kraus

Marius Kraus has a diverse work experience in the energy and sustainable agriculture sectors. Marius began their career as a Project Developer for SOWITEC Group in Germany from September 2012 to March 2014. In April 2014, they transitioned to the role of Portfolio Manager for Argentina, Colombia, and Peru until April 2015. From May 2015 to March 2019, Marius served as the Portfolio Manager for Argentina, Chile, and Peru at the same company. In April 2019, they took on two roles within SOWITEC Group, becoming the Managing Director for SOWITEC Colombia and the Portfolio Manager for Peru. Prior to their time at SOWITEC Group, Marius worked at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. In 2010, they participated in the "Territorial development in rural areas" Sector project, and in 2011, they were involved in the PROAGRO program for sustainable agricultural development.

From 2005 to 2012, Marius Kraus attended RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau and obtained an Engineer's degree in Spatial and Environmental Planning. In 2008, they briefly attended Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in the Geography department, although they did not complete a specific degree during this time.
