Maryann Cox

Maryann Cox has diverse work experience with a focus on business development, strategy, and operations. Maryann started their career in 2011 as a Client Services Associate at Best Beverage Catering, where they provided beverage catering services for various events. In 2012, they worked as an Executive Assistant & Office Manager at INgrooves, a music marketing and distribution company.

In 2014, Maryann joined Shuddle as a Manager of Community & Corporate Communications, where they contributed to revolutionizing transportation for families. Maryann then co-founded Something Local in 2013, where they served as a Co-Owner.

In 2015, Maryann took on the role of Director of Business Operations at FACTION Entertainment, a technology-enabled music management company. There, they implemented innovative solutions to streamline artist management. At Beatport, a digital music platform, they worked as a Technical Recruiter from 2019 to 2021, connecting the global DJ community with high-quality music.

Currently, Maryann is working at Sowlutions, a venture capital firm and software development accelerator, where they focus on business development and strategy, transforming ideas into successful products. Throughout their career, Maryann has demonstrated versatility and adaptability across different industries and roles.

Maryann Cox attended The University of Arizona from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Communications. Maryann later obtained a SHRM-CP Certification from the Society for Human Resource Management, specializing in Human Resources Management.
