Shirlene Kyin

Shirlene Kyin is the Director of Business Operations at Soylent. Prior to joining Soylent, they were an Associate Project Manager at the Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE). At CSE, Shirlene managed the day-to-day operations of the LADWP (Los Angeles Department of Water & Power) Solar Incentive Program.

Shirlene has a long history of working in the clean energy industry. Shirlene began their career at CSE as an intern while they were still in college. After graduation, they joined the organization full-time. During their time at CSE, they worked on a variety of projects aimed at increasing the adoption of clean energy technologies and sustainability efforts across the community.

In their current role at Soylent, Shirlene is responsible for overseeing the company's business operations. This includes managing budgets, developing strategic plans, and coordinating with various teams within the organization. Under their leadership, Soylent has continued to grow and expand its reach, making it one of the leading companies in the food-tech industry.

Shirlene Kyin reports to Demir Vangelov, CEO. They are on a team with Jamie Sullivan - Senior Director, Marketing & Impact, Stacey Kalmanovitz - Director, Sales, eCommerce Retailers & Amazon, and Domenica Herrick - Director, E-Commerce & Digital Marketing.
