Bill Vivian has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Bill currently works as a Strategic Plans Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they provide advanced policy support to senior Marine Corps leadership and consults on enterprise-wide change and talent management initiatives. Prior to this, they co-founded Freestone Solutions Group in 2018 and served as the Managing Partner at the Center for College Solutions from 2018 to 2019. Bill has also had a military career, having served as a Marine in the 1st Marine Division from 2017 to 2018 and as a Commanding Officer in the 7th Marine Regiment from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, they have worked as a Force Analyst at the Office of the Secretary of Defense from 2014 to 2015 and as a Battalion Commander in the 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines from 2010 to 2012. Furthermore, they have served as an Executive Officer in the 5th Marine Regiment from 2009 to 2010 and as an Operations & Plans Officer in the Provincial Reconstruction Team, Anbar from 2008 to 2009.

Bill Vivian's education history includes a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from The University of Kansas, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. Bill further pursued their education by attending the Marine Corps Command and Staff College from 2005 to 2006, where they earned a Masters degree in Military Studies. In 2006, they enrolled in the Marine Corps School of Advanced Warfighting and completed their Masters degree in Operations Studies by 2007. Lastly, from 2012 to 2013, Bill Vivian attended the Dwight D. Eisenhow School for National Security and Resource Strategy, obtaining a Masters of Science degree in National Resource Strategy.
