Hayes Griffin has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2014, they worked as a Construction Laborer and Field Technician at Rembco Geotechnical Contractors, Inc., where they operated small equipment, supervised field testing, and loading of rock anchors. In 2015, they were a Project Engineer at the same company, where they designed an inventory system and deployed a data acquisition system for high mobility grouting. In 2016, they interned as a Compressor Engineering Intern at Trane. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Pratt & Whitney, where they designed kinematic systems and cases for gas turbine engine fans and compressors, led weight reduction efforts, and developed accurate system load models. Currently, they are an Operations Research Analyst at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., providing technical and operational analysis for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Research and Engineering.
Hayes Griffin obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Economics from Duke University. Hayes completed their studies at Duke University from 2013 to 2017.
