Ryan Monson

Ryan Monson has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to modeling, simulation, and research. Ryan currently works as a Modeling and Simulation Lead at Systems Planning and Analysis, Inc., where they focus on building inventory forecasting models and decision support tools for the company's customers. Prior to this, Ryan served as the Director of Modeling and Simulation at Veracity Forecasting and Analysis, an emerging small business that develops predictive analytic methodologies and computational forecasting tools. At ATK, Ryan worked as a Research Scientist and was responsible for improving solid rocket motor aging and surveillance methods. Ryan led initiatives in failure modes and effects analysis, test plan development, statistical trend analysis, and the development of material aging models. Additionally, Ryan gained experience as a Research and Teaching Assistant at Caltech, where they worked for three years.

Ryan Monson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Brigham Young University, where they attended from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Materials Science at Caltech between 2001 and 2003.
