Steffan Henry

Steffan Henry has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. Steffan is currently employed as a Naval Design Architect at Space Forge since November 2022. Previously, Steffan worked at Idwal from January 2019 to November 2022. During their time at Idwal, they held various roles, including Head of Marine Standards, Lead Surveyor (Engineering), Marine Surveyor, and Technical Support. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and improving safety and technical standards, monitoring industry trends, supporting data and technology advancements, conducting ship surveys, providing marine engineering services, and offering technical consultancy. Steffan's extensive experience in the maritime industry makes him a valuable asset in their field.

Steffan Henry pursued their formal education in the field of Mechanical Engineering, earning a Bachelor's degree from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd from 2006 to 2009. In 2014, they attended South Shields Marine School for a short period to study 2nd Engineers Motor Unlimited. Additionally, they obtained certifications in Second engineers Motor Unlimited from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency in January 2014 and in F-Gas from The F-Gas Register in May 2013.
