Mariah Sumner

Mariah Sumner, M.Ed., is the Director of Government Relations at Space Foundation, where they leverage over 20 years of experience in curriculum design, systems improvement, and international education. They have led regional initiatives as Director of Curriculum and Director of Improvement Science, with teaching experience in American international schools across Argentina, Ghana, and Syria. At Space Foundation, Mariah engages with congressional members, public policy leaders, and space advocacy groups to advance awareness of space-related issues, notably through the Congressional Space Series course they developed. Mariah’s career reflects a commitment to fostering collaboration and equipping policymakers with knowledge about the critical impacts of the space industry.
