Nicole Karnath

Nicole Karnath is a Research Scientist at the Space Science Institute in Boulder, CO, currently serving as a visiting fellow at the Center for Astrophysics in Cambridge, MA since October 2022. Prior to this role, Nicole worked as an Astrophysicist at USRA from August 2019 to October 2022, where responsibilities included serving as an Instrument Scientist for the FORCAST instrument on SOFIA, focusing on the preparation, planning, and execution of scientific observations. Nicole earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Astronomy and Astrophysics from The University of Toledo in 2019 and holds a Master of Science in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics from Northern Arizona University, awarded in 2013.
