Shigeki Kuzuoka

Shigeki Kuzuoka has extensive experience in the space industry. Shigeki is currently the President of Satellibe Business Network, where they support the globalization of the Japanese/Asian space industry and introduces global satellite services to Japanese/Asian users. Their responsibilities include providing consultation services, supporting the implementation of value-added services, training and technical transfer, translation and interpretation, as well as planning seminars and exhibitions. Shigeki is also the head of EuroConsult Japan Office. In 2019, Kuzuoka joined Space Shift Inc. as the CSO (Chief SAR Officer). Prior to these roles, they worked at NEC Corporation as a Technology Executive in the Space Systems Division from 2009 to 2013. Before that, they served as a Principal Engineer at ImageONE from 1996 to 2009 and held a managerial position at Mitsubishi Electric from 1979 to 1996. Kuzuoka also worked as a Manager at ERSDAC from 1993 to 1995.

Shigeki Kuzuoka earned their Ph.D. in Remote Sensing from Saga University, which they attended from 2000 to 2003. Prior to this, they pursued a Master's degree in Systems Engineering at Kobe University from 1973 to 1979.
