In 2020, they became an Author of a YA climate fiction novel with New Degree Press. In 2017, they began working at MENA Speakers as a Professional Speaker. In 2021, they began working at Root System as the Program Director for the Root System Residency and Operations Partner. In 2020, they began working at Techstars (Techstars Starburst Space Accelerator) as the Lead Operations Associate. In 2019, they began working at RALLY: an issue driven communications firm as a Communications Fellow. In 2018, they began working at The Rick and Susan Sontag Center for Collaborative Creativity (the Hive) as the Design and Creative Processes Associate. In 2017, they founded Aspir8, a company that provides mentorship and training opportunities to empower students to create change in their communities. In 2018, they began working at Zayed University as the Country Coordinator / Research Assistant. In 2018, they became the Co-Director, Host & Guest Mentor for the Global Service Jam Dubai 2018.
Jaya Jivika Rajani has an extensive education history. Jaya Jivika attended Emirates International School from 2001 to 2013, where they obtained their International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. During this time, they also obtained a Classical Piano (Grade 6) certification from ABRSM in April 2013 and a Merit in Music Theory (Grade 5) certification from ABRSM in November 2012. In 2011, they obtained an International General Certificate in Secondary Education (IGCSE) from Pearson UK. From 2007 to 2012, they attended Surabharati Sangeet Parishad, where they obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Kathak Dance. In 2015, they attended Universit\u00e9 Paris Cit\u00e9 for a semester abroad in Economics and Geography. During this time, they also obtained an Attestation TCF - Test de connaissance du fran\u00e7ais certification from Centre international d'\u00e9tudes p\u00e9dagogiques (CIEP). From 2013 to 2017, they attended Pomona College, where they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Environmental Economics and Media Studies, with a minor in French. In 2017, they attended Drucker School of Management for a Master Class in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management.
