Sami Yacoubi

Sami Yacoubi has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2012, they worked as a Facilitator Camp at Poney des 4 saisons, where they were responsible for teaching horse riding to children. From 2013 to 2014, they interned at CNRS - Laboratoire de Phonétique et de Phonologie, where they worked on software development for analyzing acoustic distances between sounds. In 2014, they interned as an Engineering Intern at VINCI Construction.

In 2015, Sami took a travel semester in New Zealand to improve their communication skills and experience a new culture. During their time there, they had various jobs, including being a shepherd, horse-trek guide, night security at a hostel, and working in a local sandwich and salads shop.

In 2016, Sami had a study semester at Graz University of Technology in Austria. Sami then joined SNCF Réseau, where they held two positions. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as an Innovation Project Manager and Design Thinking teacher, responsible for creating partnerships between SNCF and startups and organizing innovation workshops. Sami also worked as a Programme AIR manager, accelerating projects based on partnerships with startups.

In 2019, Sami Yacoubi co-founded SpaceSense.ai, a company specializing in satellite data processing through artificial intelligence, with a focus on democratizing this technology. Currently, they serve as the co-founder and COO of the company.

Sami'smost recent role is as Secretary General at Alliance NewSpace France, which they started in 2021. Overall, Sami Yacoubi has a strong background in innovation, project management, and entrepreneurship.

Sami Yacoubi's education history is as follows:

From 2018 to 2019, Sami attended HEC Paris and earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Entrepreneurship.

During the same period, from 2018 to 2019, they also studied at École Polytechnique, where they obtained another Master of Science (MSc) degree in Entrepreneurship.

In 2017, Sami completed an Erasmus semester at Technische Universität Graz, specializing in Computer Sciences.

From 2013 to 2016, they attended Université de Technologie de Compiègne (UTC) and achieved an Engineer's degree in Computer Sciences.

Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they studied at IUT Orsay and obtained a DUT (Diplôme Universitaire de Technologie) in Informatique (Computer Science).

Sami's education journey started at Lycée de Montgeron from 2008 to 2011, where they acquired a Baccalaureat degree with a focus on the Sciences field.
